brain the boy (who's suffering head injuries) was abused by otherlads in the community- not his father.
which is still very sad, so please continue to pray for him and his family.

triathlon training!
one of the very few promises i have made in life is to do a triathlon- who could force me into doing such thing, win/ harry!!!
litteraly next door to the village of hope is the engin valley country club sourronded by mountains, so called woodland(burnt in forest fire) and a beautiful lake. this is where im doing my training!
it could just be a run (not jog/walk!) which takes me up the moutain on a hilly 10k course, often done twice for the sake of it! best time for those that must know is 1hr36mins for 20k!
the mountain biking is simply amaizing- its mainly single track with lots of rocky/loose accents and steep windy hair rising decents :D, i often find myself to overheat and sweat on these bike rides- so its importand to stop for a swim at the lake! which is THE most refreshing thing ever :D
or it could be cicuit training at daz's(ex voh voulenter and godsend missonary worker) outdoor gym. very simular to ruby's body pumping in whilstshire, this is simply body building in light hearted style- where 6 flabs turn into 6packs, mine a long way off!
my plan is simply to be "tri fit" when i return and ready to take on the challage of a british triathlon#!
please countinue to pray for brian (the boy who was abused by his father) as he countines to recover, although the extent of the brain damage is not yet known.
family are coming out in a weeks time!!!! (i think we will have a "white christmas" white as in beautiful white sandy beeches!) please dont forget to send them cards, presents, hugs, kisses, punches or even a present/donation for the village of hope!

a post...
unfortunatly i yet haven't got into the habbit of updating this blog regulary- sorry!
but heres an overview of whats going on....
christmas shopping!- this is normaly done sitting on my bum and ordering bits and bobs of amazon! but yesterday i went into cape town where theres a really cool building which does handmade african craft, being africa there was no set price for anything. so you ask the chap how much this is, he says like 400rand (roughly £35) i say il pay 250rand then you keep arguing until you meet somewhere in the middle, luckenly i managed to get my parents christmas present for half price (after mentioning the bloke upstairs had something very simular for half the price- when we settled i carryed on looking around and then relieased there wasn't another floor, a quick eascape was made)
after shopping i stopped of by the waterfront, which was amazing timing as the volvo ocean race was at the cape town satge (a sailors dream!) volvo was there with loads of stimulator machines, one for sailing, lorry driving, digger operator, airbus etc. lorry certainly wasn't easy so hats of to them!
unfortunatly theres being loads of crime around the farm, internet cables have being nicked again (fortunatly for us we've being recently upgraded to saterlite internet- one satge ahead of the thiefs)
a guy has being ambushed at gun point when driving a quad bike around the country club (which is not far at all from here)
henry believes one of our power supply bokes have been tempered with on the farm (whish is scary as someone might have come onto the farm)
one of our house mum's son has being in comma for 9days after suffering injuries due to physical abuse from his father, he only woke up a few days ago and the extent of his brain damage is not clear. unfortunatly this is not the first abuse story i have heard in my short time here- gives you bit of an insight.
please pray for the poor chap as he starts his long road for recovery.
hope you guys that went to wholehearted in alysbury enjoyed the event?!
